Are you tired of people lying to you and getting off with it? All liars do is make the fool out of you and hurt people’s feelings. Well, we are here to help you out with it. You don’t need any superpowers to figure out if someone is lying to you. All you need is to notice them and the subtle ways in which the body language of the person changes.
So here we have listed down a few ways by which you can figure out if someone is lying to you or not!
If someone is exaggerating their honesty to make you believe them then be sure that the person is lying to you. If they use words like swear and promise too much then don’t believe them. A liar will always use too much of these words.
2.Their breathing pattern changes
If a person feels concerned their breathing becomes heavy and ragged. It’s a reflex action when one is feeling tense and nervous and it happens because of an increase in heart rate and blood flow. Their voice will become unclear and their shoulder tends to rise.
3.Fidgeting and twitching
Well, you must have noticed people when they feel nervous. They involuntarily start touching their nose, their throat, the back of their ears, or their chest when they feel nervous.
4.Laughing it off
The person who is lying tries to laugh it off. Someone who wants to deceive you will try to make you laugh. This will make the conversation less serious and will deviate your mind.
5.Answering your questions with more questions
A liar will always want to deceive you and will never answer your question with direct answers. They will answer your questions with more questions. This is one of the ways you can detect a lie.
When someone is lying their heartbeat will increase rapidly. Hug them to check their heartbeat. If it is running fast then there are high chances you’re being lied to.
Often the voice of a liar will be high pitched. So observe their speech. A liar either stutters when lying or speaks in high pitch.
Check out if their body comparatively moves less than normal or becomes stiff. This is because they are more conscious of what they say is a lie.
A person’s body language speaks more of them so notice the body language to catch a liar. This is one of the ways that will never prove you wrong. If someone’s feets are pointing away from you, or are pointing towards the exit, then you know what the matter is.
Liars repeat words and phrases said by the person they are talking to. This is because they try to convince you that they are honest.
Do you know what it is? Well if a person is not being honest their nose turns warm instantly.
You can tell a lot by looking at a person’s eyes. If the person stares longer without much blinking or doesn’t blink as much as they should then they are probably not telling you the truth.
If someone lies and says yes without realizing, they will nod their head in the opposite direction. Like nodding ‘Yes’ while they mean ‘No’!
