Xie Xiping from Angkang, China has been looking after her husband (now ex), Xu Xiahan, since his accident in 2002.
He was caught in a mining accident and became paralyzed as a result. He lost his ability to walk, forever. Later on, the woman married his best friend Liu Zongkui.
Now, they are living together in a house with all their kids.

After Xu was paralyzed, Xie had always been there for him. He was even concerned that she might leave him, but she never left his side. He also persuaded her to divorce him and marry someone who makes her happy, but she would not listen.
