One of the wealthiest CEOs in the world rather chose a simple life for himself. He still resides in his $31,500 house he bought in 1958. He begins his day with a cheap meal from McDonalds. He doesn’t own a lot of cars and likes to use one for many years. He is involved in a lot of charities and once even begged Washington DC to increase his taxes.

Inspite of being one of India’s richest men, Premji is still very down to earth and simple person. He truly leads a simple life trying to donate anonymously more than $4 billion to disadvantaged children and public health initiatives.

He earned $265 million by selling his company to Microsoft. But invested $350 million of his own money to build downtown Las Vegas into a technology hub. He would be happy with $1 in his pocket until he is around people who cares about him.
12. Carlos Slim Helu (Chairman and CEO of Telmax).
Slim may be considered among the wealthiest self-made billionaires. He still lives in the six-bedroom house he has owned for 30 years and also drives himself to work.
