Racism is an issue which has been prevalent in the world for so many centuries and has still not been eradicated fully; there are still various issues of racial abuse going on in various parts of the world. But another issue that people don’t talk about as much is colorism–discrimination or prejudice based on someone’s skin tone. Colorism is discrimination based on the color and it is more or less has the same bad effect on the society as racism. In general, some people don’t see these as separate but these two are entirely different.
