Tell me, who isn’t in love with Wonder Woman? Well, we can’t be friends anymore. Honestly, she is really the kind of Super-“Hero” I’ve been waiting for all my life. But, I guess, there is no Wonder woman without the Wonder Woman Costume. I mean the costume designers did a fantastic job on their part! So, since not many of us have the actual budget for the costume that they had, we improvise. And what if I tell you that you can make your own Wonder Woman Costume with just yoga mat and duct tape!
Meet the (wonder)woman Rhylee Passfield who designed her own Wonder Woman costume using yoga mat and duct tape!
This Australian makeup artist and children’s entertainer said that she basically started duct taping herself.
She explained the costume very vividly and anybody can now try their hand at it. She cut out a pattern from the duct tape form, copied it onto the yoga mat and glued the pieces together using contact adhesive.
Using a heat gun she then curved the corset and made the breastplate pattern using fake nails.
The eagle, belt, leg armor, gauntlets, and the headpiece were all made from thin craft foam, scrap vinyl and boyleg underwear were used to make the skirt, and the shoes are a painted thrift shop find.
She then spray painted the details on the costume and voila!
Oh, she definitely looks ravishing in that costume. For a moment at least I can imagine her as the real Wonder Woman!
She used her awesome crafty methods to make the headpiece for the costume, the gauntlet, and the armor. And the perfect makeup just makes it definitely super right!
This is definitely on my to-do list!
