Home alone and Friends, two big indifferent names that come to your mind of the 90’s movie/TV Series collection. These are like our whole childhood if you ask me. Now both have comedy as their genre. So, could they be connected to this very small thing? Absolutely not! Some fans spotted a weird theory for the show and the movie series being connected to each other. Also, both of them have met their respective happy endings, Friends in 2004 and Home Alone in 2012.
So, can there be a connection? Read below and decide for yourself:
How? You ask? Why?
If you might have noticed it in the movie and Friends as well. You might have noticed it if you had ever carefully watched them and more if you had watched them simultaneously.
But it’s definitely not same.
FRIENDS is set in New York, Home Alone is Chicago, miles to the west. What is happening?
What is going on?
There are little things that suggest the idea.
Video by a studio also has some proofs in it.
Well, 22 Vision says that it got in touch with the people who live in the actual house in Winnetka, Illinois.
The people who live there claim it’s the same in both cases. But still the sets are in two different places so, how?
Apparently, Friends uses “Home Alone stock footage” to make the outside world of Monica and Chandler’s new neighborhood. People just failed to notice.
It’s an idyllic house.
It’s not uncommon for movie studios to recycle their sets of productions, or for different crews to make use of the same locations.
The Season Finale.
In a less sad and surreal instance of this same phenomenon, the series finale of Friends included a location that may be familiar to some viewers.
It was unless 22 Vision had discovered that the house Monica and Chandler move into at the close of the long-running series happens to be the former McCallister residence, also known as the home in which a young Macaulay Culkin was alone in Home Alone.
The evidence is overwhelming. But who could blame Monica and Chandler for snapping up this property?
It’s got lots of spots for strategically placed buckets of marbles, the high ceilings are perfect for elaborate Rube Goldberg machines designed to pulverize intruders, and the owner has made it clear that the ghost of Macaulay Culkin has been all but eradicated from the grounds. Even with the dark past, it’s a steal at twice the price!
So, after all this, we have lined up enough evidence to say that they might be connected. Now, we can’t come to any conclusions until the story writers confirm it.
