5. Lizzie Borden
1927: A rhyme is based on this case. “Lizzie took an axe & gave her mother forty whacks; when she saw what she had done, she gave her father forty-one” In Massachusetts, an American woman, Lizzie Borden was accused and kept in prison for murdering her father and stepmother. Later she was released. The Speculation about this crime still continues even though more than 100 years have passed.
6. Atlas Vampire
1932: Dead body of Lilly Lindestrom was found in her small apartment near Sankt Eriksplan of Stockholm. She was a 32-year-old prostitute. The body was found 2-3 days after the death when police broke into her apartment. She had suffered blunt force trauma to her head. a condom was found to still be protruding from her an*s. A gravy ladle was found at the spot. Her body had been drained of some of her blood, if not all. Police found that the implement was used to drink Lily’s blood. The murder is still unsolved.
7. Jack the Stripper
1965: Just like “Jack the Ripper”, “Jack the Stripper” killed eight prostitutes. The dead bodies were dumped in River Thames by the murderer. A young man committed suicide who was implicated in the murder. No solid evidence was found to link the man to the crimes.
