Well, we all know Scooby Doo and his show and how couldn’t we? After all, it was one of the favorite shows of 90’s kids. 1.Scooby Doo full name is Scoobert Doo. The name Scooby Doo is inspired by a line by Frank Sinatra’s “Strangers in the Night”: “ Doo-be-doo-be-doo”!
2.The full name of the other characters is Daphne Blake, Norville ‘Shaggy’ Rogers, Fred Herman Jones, and Velma Dace Dinkley.
3.It was originally going to be called The Mysteries Five and would revolve around the ghost-hunting adventures of a pop band. The members of the pop band were named Kelly, Geoff, Linda, Mike and WW (later called Shaggy). Their dog named Too Much who played bongos. The show also, temporarily, had the name “Who’s S-S-Scared?”
4.Scooby Doo is one of the triplets. The other two were Dobby Doo and Skippy Doo. He has two brothers called Yabba Doo and Howdy Doo. Scooby also had a sister named Ruby Doo, who is the mother of his nephew Scrappy.
5.There is 12 version of the show that’s already been done. The most popular among them were ‘Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!’ (1969-1970) which was the original and later ‘What’s New, Scooby-Doo? (2002-2006).
6.Don Messick was the man behind the voices of Scooby-Doo, Scrappy-Doo and Papa Smurf.
