Some rules are made to be broken and people break rules often. It can be anything like wearing white after Labor Day or eating carbs right before bed. But there are some rules that legitimately keep us alive, so it’s better to abide by them like not smoking at a gas station. Still, some people don’t follow it and put their and others lives in danger. Like this man who in spite of being said refuses to stop smoking at the gas station.

Even though the employee at the gas station asked him to stop smoking he ignored it and continued to do it. So the employee used a fire extinguisher to stop him and teach him a lesson.
There’s a sign of “Don’t smoke” at almost every gas station and places like these because fire and gas don’t really go hand in hand. If your pump drips a little and gets gas on you, you could be flammable and hurt yourself. If there’s a leak, open flame could cause major damage and hurt a lot of people.
This man showed up at the gas station with a lit cigarette and wouldn’t put it off on request, the gas station employee took matters into his own hands and sprayed the guy with a fire extinguisher.
While some say that the employee’s way to teach this man a lesson was too much, we say that if it kept others safe it was the right thing to do. At least now this rogue cigarette smoker won’t visit any more gas stations with a lit cigarette which is ultimately a very good thing.
