12. Christian Olivo
He chose to stay homeless and instead joined a gym and invested that money in acting classes. He ran and walked on the beach of Los Angeles every day, instead of dating. His hard work and sacrifice paid off bring ing him to the action actors list, landing him roles in FX’s Versace: American Crime Story and HBO’s Insecure.

The man who gave us action blockbusters Face Off and Mission Impossible II had a rough life at a very young age. His family were very poor and sometimes no food to eat as his father had tuberculosis, they became homeless after their house got gutted in fire and almost 2 years they were homeless, till they got a new place.

He was homeless, a dropout from college and would sleep in a van, plus he would drink, smoked marijuana and just to cover his daily needs. He was offered a role in Cursed 3 and then he went on to do television series Parks and Recreation, Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy, and Owen Grady in Jurassic World.
9. Drew Carey
His father died when he was 8 yrs. and was homeless in Las Vegas, he would sell his blood for $40 to buy food. Carey would display his comedic skill in clubs until he was offered to do Star Search and The Tonight Show. This led to The Drew Carey Show in 1995, after which he hosted The Price Is Right game show
8. W.C. Fields
He left home in 1891 after his father beat him for a petty mishap. He was homeless and lived in a vacant plot and food was brought by his friends from their house. He would also steal food from stores and started his career as a juggler till he got his big break with Paramount Studios doing films like The Bank Dick and My Little Chickadee and also starred as Mr. Micawber in David Copperfield.
7. Charlie Chaplin
He and his brother Sydney were forced to earn their own living when they were just 10yrs. old in 1899. Chaplin started his career as a tap dancer and a comedian, before immigrating to the United States. There, he joined Mack Sennett and the Keystone Film Company, where he built his own studio and did several movies making him one of the greatest Hollywood actors who rose from rags to riches.

His father worked as a security guard and after he quit they became homeless and Carrey would do odd jobs like cleaning the wheel factory to make ends meet. They would spend nights in their Volkswagen camper van. He started his career as an entertainer in 1977 doing stand up comedy. His first major break was Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and the rest is history.
5. Daniel Craig
This British secret agent James Bond once waited tables and slept on park benches, till he was offered the role of a baddie in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. He received national attention as a drug pusher Geordie Peacock in the 1996 BBC miniseries Our Friends in the North and starred as Bond in the 2006 movie Casino Royale.

He is among one of the most bankable Hollywood actors, but in the 70s he was homeless and had to sell his dog as he couldn’t buy food for the dog. He was inspired by underdog Chuck Wepner, who knocked down Muhammad Ali, that’s how Rocky Balboa was born. The film cost $1.1 million to make and earned $225 million.

She was living alone in a homeless shelter and was down to the last dollar at the age of 21 in 1987 and all this taught her to become self-sufficient. She went into modeling and starred in a range of films including Monster’s Ball for which she won the 2002 Academy Award for Best Actress. Once penniless and homeless, now Berry is a wealthy Hollywood celebrity.

She grew up in a trailer park and empty houses before moving to California with her mother as a teenager to pursue a career in acting. She went on to win two Oscars at age 30 for The Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don’t Cry. She is one of the talented actresses in Hollywood, with a net worth estimated at $40 million.
