Meet 21-year-old South Sudanese-Australian model Duckie Thot, whom people often confuse for a Barbie.
You might remember Duckie from the 2013 season of Australia’s Next Top Model, where she was a contestant.

Though she was only 17 then, she faced relentless bullying on Twitter over her natural hair and skin color.
Bullying is a really bad thing to do to a person and on a social platform where more people are able to see it is even worse.
After being called cruel names, such as ‘cauliflower head,’ Duckie disappeared from the spotlight for 2 years.
No one shouldn’t be criticized or bullied for their skin color so much like that they have to disappear from their public life.
After coming back with the thunder, she finally opened up about the painful experiences she went through.
During this time she transformed herself to this form of Barbie.
“I’ve been molded by absolutely everybody in every corner,” she says!
That’s not an achievement everyone can say or be proud of!
“When I started listening to my own voice, that’s when things really started picking up for me”
You can’t do anything on a bigger platform if you care about everything like being bullied or the criticism. No matter what you do there will be people who will try to bring you down.
The stunning beauty has since relocated from Australia to New York City and is feeling better than ever.
