There are truths that many of us avoid. No matter how relatable they are, we prefer dodging them in every possible way. Maybe they’re true, maybe they are not. But we fear to not hear and know these truths because that would make things.. um.. uncomfortable? Precisely. And it’s not like you don’t know these, but your choice to avoid is what matters. Don’t worry though, we all share this habit of neglecting what’s true and live in a rather imaginary world of our own. Anyways, here are 12 truths we just do not want to hear.
1. One In A Million
No, you’re not. Even if you were, there are 7,000 people exactly like you. Nothing to brag about.
You see those strangers passing by? Do you care who they are? No? Exactly. You are as insignificant to the rest of the world as those strangers are to you. Sorry.
3. Childhood Memories
Most of the beautiful childhood memories that you remember are made up events. Our brain literally messes around to create false memories that never happened.
4. Looks, Matter.
Various studies have shown that looks really matter. Good looking people are given more opportunities and are treated better.
5. Tiny Bugs
When you sleep, tiny bugs are eating the skin off your face. Some are even clearing their bowels on your face.
6. It’s Your Fault
Not everything bad happens due to you. But at least some things are your fault. And as soon as you realize and accept it, a part of life becomes better and controllable.
They want to see you succeed. Even want you to do well in everything. But they just can’t see you surpass them. That’s how human behaviour works.
Everyone picks their nose. Even your crush, and that hot chick/guy you saw at the bar the other day. The problem lies with us. We are caught every time.
9. Overeating VS Undereating
In the near future (and present), more people will die of overeating than undereating.
The gadgets, clothes, and food we have are all products of human slavery, poverty wages, and extreme working conditions. We still refuse to appreciate.
11. Who Got More Chances Of Killing You?
12. I Like You As A Friend
Everyone’s been through this. Still, you don’t want to hear it.
