Who doesn’t like to see artistic sculptures or monumental things! Neither do we miss any opportunities to take any photo or enjoy a great amazing sculpture. American chainsaw artist Jeffrey Michael Samudosky recently transformed a redwood snag into a magnificent giant octopus. Carved to perfection, its giant tentacles stretch out, tapering off in refined detail. That octopus might even confuse the real octopuses of what is real and what is made out of a chainsaw. This octopus is literally breaking the internet and you also must see it for the sake of a good artist who invested a lot of time and hard work to make that project successful.
Jeff Samudosky wields a chainsaw like few others are capable of.
And if you have any doubts about his talents, you don’t need to look any further than the incredible giant octopus he carved from a massive chunk of redwood.
The transformation from raw, gray, fallen wood into a stunning tentacled beast is remarkable.
This sculpture doesn’t even look like it’s a chainsaw!
Working with a chunk of wood as large as this was going to be a challenge.
But it wasn’t impossible for Jeff and his chainsaw-wielding talents!
From the rough texture of its skin to the suckers running up and down the tentacles,
Jeff’s eye for detail is on point, you simply can’t find any mistake in this amazing structure at all!
Jeff even kept the rear side of his masterpiece natural!
So that it appeared as if the octopus latched onto a chunk of driftwood.
A number of details and hard work he put into this chainsaw octopus was worth a notice.
The First look:
This was the first small transformation of the big sculpture that took the basic shape as for now.
A little bit of craving out and then:
The detailing time:
Adding perfection and using machines to make it more realistic:
From different angles:
The result is a mindblowing piece of art.
The look he actually wanted to give was an octopus who is crawled on a wooden thing and obviously, he was successful in that!
All these photos look amazing and stunning and there is no way anyone is gonna do anything awesome and even near to what Jeffery did. I would definitely love to see this in reality at some point of my life.
